Something that I learned at the Cape Symphony for young people is that they have to sit in a certain order. Another thing that I learned was that when my class got back to the school, our teacher told us that when people do plays that the string instruments go down in something called a pit. Going to the Cape Symphony for young people was a great experience for me and I hope I get to go again!

Dear Ms. Burton,
My favorite part of the concert was when those cool percussionists were playing, the ones the weren't on stage. I never knew that there was 2 completely different violin sections. Sincerely, Lily

Dear Ms. Burton,

My favorite part of the Cape Cod Symphony Orchestra was the part when they played the Simpons theme song. I never knew that there were harps in orchestras.
                                                                                     Molly

If I was put in that kind of situation I would be terrified.
If one of my friends tried to put my in a situation like that, I would say,” You know what, I wouldn’t do something dangerous just because one of my friends dares me to.” For example: If one of my friends dared me to jump off the Sagamore Brige, I wouldn’t do it, or if one of my friends dared me to climb up the Eiffel Tower, I wouldn’t do that eather.

Dear Ms. Burton,
I think the boy that didn't want to do it in the first place (I can't remember his name!) will decide not to do it but the other boy will still do it even though his friend tried to stop him. I think the boy is only asking him to go to the bluffs because he wants his friend to think that he his brave and since he knows his friend will end up not doing it he will make himself seem even braver by teasing him that he's a chicken and a coward and things like that. I don't think anything has happened to me like that at least anything that is so bad that I would actually remember it. If I was in that situation I would have just told the prson that wanted me to do something exactly what I was feeling, I would have told them 'No, I don't do anything that I don't want to do especially if it is something dangerous.' Sincerely, Lily

Dear Mrs. Burton,
I think one boy would make it but the other boy might not. Yes, something like that has happend to me I was at resses when a girl came up to me and told me to tell my friend that she is mean and weird but I didn't because it would be rude and upseting. I would say "I have to go home and do homework."
                                                                         Molly Richards

Dear Ms.Burton,
I do not feel very confident that they can do it. Yes I was playing with my friend Jacob and I went through a hole on my bike. I would have said"I don't feel good" and gone home.

The accomplishments I am proud of are the MCAS Long Comp and the Language arts MCAS. I am proud of my MCAS because I think I did really well. I am also proud of my reading log because I am reading a lot more this year than I was last year.

Dear Ms. Burton,
One thing I'm proud of is the LA MCAS because it is very long and hard work and we practice for it so much before it.

    Sincerely, Lily
